We are a foundation born in Vienna that provides emotional support, practical guidance, and spiritual care to family members and caregivers of people living with dementia, especially Alzheimer’s, within the Spanish-speaking community.
Caregiving should not be a lonely journey, but one sustained by a human and faith-based support network.
The problem we address
Across the world, and especially in Latin America, thousands of families face Alzheimer’s and other dementias without information, psychological support, or spaces for emotional care.
Caregiving often focuses on the patient, while caregivers and family members experience deep emotional, physical, and spiritual exhaustion.
The lack of support leads to depression, anxiety, burnout, and loss of faith, ultimately affecting both the caregiver and the person receiving care.

Our response
In the face of the loneliness and exhaustion experienced by those who care for others, we are building a network of human, emotional, and spiritual support so that families do not go through this process alone.
Through safe spaces for listening, guidance, and care, we strengthen caregivers so they can provide support with greater well-being, dignity, and hope.

Testimonials
As a caregiver for a family member with dementia, the talk offered by Corazones Solidarios gave me practical tools for everyday life and helped me better understand the illness.
I greatly valued the human warmth of all the panelists, who made me feel understood and reminded me of the importance of taking care of myself. I am very grateful.
The support was of great help during a difficult time while caring for my mother with Alzheimer’s. Thanks to the psychological, spiritual, and practical support, I was able to open up, feel heard, and understand my emotions.
I learned the importance of taking care of myself, asking for help, and going through this process with calm and compassion. Today I feel more at peace and better equipped.
As a professional caregiver and daughter of a person with Alzheimer’s, I strongly identified with the cases presented, especially regarding the constant supervision required for people living with dementia.
I gained practical tools for my work and for caring for my mother. I now see that I am not alone. The greatest lesson was learning self-care, patience, and empathy throughout this process.
